The intern will work at our lab in Buffalo, assisting with bench- and pilot-scale bioreactor operations, wastewater-type samples analysis, analytical chemistry and enzymatic assays, and method development. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on and independent wet-lab experience; knowledge of microbial growth practices; experience with hydraulic design and operations.

The intern will work at our lab in Brooklyn, assisting with chemical product synthesis, purification, analysis, and process design. Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with polymer and/or small molecule synthesis and analysis in the wet lab; experience with multi-step organic synthesis, chromatography (TLC, HPLC, GC), recrystallization, and distillation.
